Dear Friends and Extended Family of La Bodega,
We would like to officially announce that we are in the process of transferring ownership of La Bodega
to Alex Bar-B-Q, and the sale will be complete on October 25th, 2024. We are retiring.
Our greatest gratitude to all of you who have made this restaurant what it is today. Great service, Great
food and cocktails and most of all a Great place to celebrate a special moment or just celebrate life.
From the moment La Bodega was envisioned, it became an extension of our being. It was more than a
venture; it was a representation of our passion and a testament of our resilience. Countless sleepless
nights and tireless efforts birthed our dream, and seeing it flourish brought immeasurable joy.
Without you, our dream would not have come true, we are proud to be part of a community that has
been willing to step out of the comfort zone and experience tastes from all over the world, yet locally
sourced. It has been indeed a special honor to have hosted each and everyone one of you in our dining
room. We find it to be an extension of our home.
Thank you for all your support and generosity.
We would like to extend our thank you to all our central coast sources, ie farmers, wine/spirit makers
who have made La Bodega a special place to experience the bounty of the central coast.
As we transition through this, we would like to introduce Alex Bar-B-Q, a blast from the past!
Alex Bar-B-Q is restoring a vintage that is so dear to the central coast in a venue that will be able to bring
the historical legendary classic back with a modern twist.
